The three defendants were all sentenced to a combined 31 years in prison after selling over 30 ghost guns in Yonkers after trafficking them from Washington, DC in 2022, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, March 22.

According to the DA's Office, between April 28 and June 24, 2022, the trio transported the illegal firearms from Washington, DC to Yonkers and sold 31 unserialized weapons, known as "ghost guns," and two conventional guns to undercover law enforcement agents over five separate occasions.

The trio was then apprehended in late June 2022.

The three defendants were identified as:

  • Netaly Pena-Camilo, age 28, of Washington, DC, who was sentenced to 15 years in state prison;
  • Jose Gregorio Olivo-Feliz, age 29, of Yonkers, who was sentenced to nine years in state prison;
  • Pedro Junior Olivo-Feliz, age 23, of Yonkers, who was sentenced to seven years in state prison.

The investigation into the ghost gun trafficking, initiated by the Yonkers Police Department's Narcotics Unit, shut down an "Iron Pipeline" of illegal firearms, officials said.

"This case underscores our tireless and proactive efforts to stop the proliferation of illegal firearms," said Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah, who added, "These significant sentences are a result of our prosecutors, investigators, and our law enforcement partners working in sync to dismantle gun trafficking networks into Westchester County.”
